New 25 million euro hotel complex opens in Cape Verde

Cidade da Praia, Cape Verde, 27 Dec – West Africa’s largest beachside hotel complex opens next month on Boavista Island in Cape Verde following an investment of 25 million euros.

The 500-bed Boa Vista Resort Hotel has been built by Euroturistica, an Italian-controlled company registered in the islands, and will receive its first visitors this month before being fully inaugurated in January.

A second building phase on the 18-hectare complex, due to begin July 2006, will give the hotel a total of 850 beds. (macauhub)
