Praia, Cape Verde, 07 Feb – A delegation from the World Bank arrived in Cape Verde this week to meet with the country’s government and local authorities in order to assess the progress of cooperation projects on the archipelago, officials said Tuesday.
On the first day of the visit, set aside for the Education Ministry as well as departments and services linked to training, the delegation met with Cape Verde’s Secretary of State for Education.
The schedule for the next few days is to visit education facilities on the islands of Santiago, Sao Vicente and Santo Antao.
On February 13, the World Bank delegation is due to meet with Cape Verde’s foreign minister, Victor Borges.
The visit is due to end on February 16. (macauhub)
