Lisbon, Portugal, 24 April – The Brazilian Product Distribution Center in Portugal, which will be located in Vialonga, north of Lisbon, will be opened on June 12 by the Brazilian minister for foreign trade, Brazil’s export and investment promotion agency (APEX) has said.
The Distribution Center, which implies an investment of 280,000 euros, will house 150 Brazilian companies and create 450 new direct jobs, according to APEX.
Vialonga was chosen due to the price of renting the 1,500 square meter area and is proximity to Lisbon’s airport and port.
The distribution center will house, amongst others, swimming pool accessory, food industry, animal feed, sporting goods and vehicle spare parts companies.
The center will serve the European and African markets.
APEX already has three Brazilian product distribution (one in Dubai, one in Miami and one in Frankfurt). (macauhub)
