South Korean group plans to build medical equipment factory in Angola

Luanda, Angola, 04 May – A factory for manufacturing general medical equipment, such as hypodermic needles and disposable syringes is due to be built this year in Angola under the terms of a contract signed Wednesday in Luanda, Angolan daily newspaper Jornal de Angola reported.

Angolan group VATCO and South Korea’s Jongbco signed the contract, which outlines an investment of US$5 million for setting up the factory.

The two companies plan for the factory to supply not only the Angolan market,, but also that of neighboring countries, particularly those in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC). (macauhub)
