Macau, China, 25 May – The chief executive of the Macau government, Edmund Ho, will make officials visits to Brussels and Portugal between June 19 and 24, according to Portuguese news agency Lusa.
Ho will head a political and business delegation visiting Brussels between June 19 and 10, where he will meet with the president of the European Commission, José Manuel Durão Barroso.
The trip to Lisbon is scheduled for between June 21 and 24 and Ho is due to meet with Portuguese president, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, Prime Minister José Sócrates and Parliamentary President Jaime Gama.
This will be Ho’s second visit to Lisbon after he first traveled to the city in May 2000 on his first foreign trip as chief executive of the Government of the Special Administrative Region of Macau. (macauhub)
