ICEP Portugal to take information technology companies to Mozambique and South Africa

Lisbon, Portugal, 09 June – Portuguese exports promotion agency, ICEP Portugal is organizing for July a mission of information technology, communications and electronics companies to visit Mozambique and South Africa, ICEP said in a statement.

A statement from ICEP said that the mission would be in Maputo between July 4 and 8 for bilateral meetings with Mozambican companies and local authorities.

The Portuguese delegation will then travel to Johannesburg, South Africa, where it will remain until July 12.

“The interest of Portuguese IT, communications and electronics companies in the African markets, specifically South Africa, Angola and Mozambique, is very strong,” said the ICEP statement.

The mission is being organized as part of a partnership with the two main Portuguese business associations, AEP and AIP, known as “PALOP 2005-2006”. (macauhub)
