Twenty-two countries represented at upcoming Luanda International Fair

Luanda, Angola, 20 July – China, Portugal, Brazil, Russia and the United States are among the 22 countries to have confirmed their participation at the 23rd Luanda International Fair from 26-30 July, according to the organizers of the annual event in the Angolan capital.

An event organizer was cited by state news agency Angop as saying that the US and Russia are taking part in the Luanda business fair for the first time and that Brazil, with 80 companies represented, and Portugal, with 118 firms present, are boosting their participation at exposition which is being attended by 240 overseas companies and 260 from Angola.

Organizers of the Luanda International Fair say the event is becoming more specialized to reflect the development of Angola’s rapidly expanding economy, with particular emphasis on the sectors of oil, foodstuffs, banking, mining, tourism, industry and real estate. (macauhub)
