Swissta Moçambique opens mineral water treatment and bottling facility in Maputo

Maputo, Moçambique, 15 Aug – Swissta Moçambique, a company owned by the Swiss group Swissta, opened a US$ 300 thousand mineral water processing and bottling facility in the Machava industrial area, reported online newspaper Zambeze.

Swissta Moçambique is foreign-owned and its investments were financed by the World Bank via the International Finance Cooperation (IFC).

Africom was nominated as the exclusive distributor of all of Swissta Moçambique’s products, reported Zambeze.

Swissta Moçambique, which is planning to sell bottles between 300 mililiters and 20 liters in size, will also produce ice and fruit-scented water (macauhub)
