Sao Tome prime minister says Germany may help develop tourism

Sao Tome, Sao Tome and Principe, 25 Aug – The prime minister of Sao Tome, Maria dos Santos Torres, said the government is preparing to cooperate with the German authorities in the tourism sector, reported online publication Téla Nón.

According to the publication, Torres, who was recently on an official visit to Germany, visited several tourist developments and made an official cooperation request to the German authorities.

Téla Nón reported that a delegation of German experts is planning to soon arrive in Sao Tome and Principe to analyse the tourist potential of the islands.

The prime minister also revealed that the government is in talks with the German authorities to obtain air and sea transport that would link the islands and the African coast. (macauhub)
