Lisbon, Portugal, 07 Sept – Cape Verdean air carrier, TACV, is set to launch from the end of October a second weekly flight from Praia to the Brazilian city of Fortaleza, the airline’s delegate for the Iberian Peninsula, Eunice Barbosa told travel and tourism news agency Press Tur.
The route to the capital of the northeastern Brazilian state of Ceará, which has already been authorized by Cape Verde’s aviation regulator, will be carried out on Mondays and Thursdays, Press Tur reported.
TACV had already announced this second flight to Fortaleza at the end of last year, but Barbosa explained that the operation had been put off due to a lack of authorization for transatlantic flights.
TACV already runs a weekly flight to Fortaleza with an airplane owned by euroAtlantic Airways, the contract for which ends in October, and therefore form that date TACV will use its own aircraft on the route. (macauhub)
