Bissau, Guinea Bissau, 17 Oct – the capital of Guinea Bissau is to host, between October 28 and November 1, the first Business Days for Guinean and Cape Verdean businesspeople, aimed at boosting business and improving institutional relations.
The meeting is promoted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, a source from the Guinean employers association told Portuguese news agency Lusa, noting that its Cape Verdean counterpart had already confirmed the presence of a number of important businesspeople in Bissau.
The 1st vice-president of the Guinean Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Braima Camará, has been in Lisbon since Monday to take part in the four days of discussions at the “Africa Business Week” conference promoted by Grupo Lusófona, one of the main Portuguese associations linked to educational cooperation.
The conference aims to debate the ways of encouraging entrepreneurship fin Portuguese-speaking African Countries, in order to persuade African staff to return to their countries to promote the economic development of the respective States. (macauhub)
