Luanda, Angola, 22 Nov – Angolan cement company Nova Cimangola is set to increase its production from 1.2 million tons per year to 2 million tons per year once its fourth oven goes into operation, the company’s chairman, Manuel Victor, said Tuesday in Luanda.
Speaking to Angolan news agency, Angpop, Victor said that the company’s fourth oven, which would go online in 2007, represented an investment of more than US$100 million.
With this and other investments to be carried out, Victor said he expected the company would be able to reach all of Angola, providing a higher quality product at a lower price.
Nova Cimangola currently sells three types of cement, the strongest of which, for large-scale building projects, is only manufactured to order. (macauhub)
