Portuguese construction companies win tender to build Vila Verde Resort in Cape Verde

Lisbon, Portugal, 30 Nov – Three Portuguese companies have won the tender to build the largest tourist and residential development in Cape Verde, Vila Verde Resort, one of the companies said in Lisbon Wednesday.

The project’s owner is Cape Verdean real estate company, Tecnicil and the three Portuguese companies involved are OPCA, which announced the win, Edifer and Hagen.

The project, which represents an investment of 150 million euros, is set out in two stages, the first of which, with an execution deadline of 11 months, will have a total construction area of 100,000 square meters.

In total, the development will cover a construction area of some 180,000 square meters and a total of 450,000 square meters, with a significant amount of green areas.

Also according to OPCA, the development will provide 4,000 beds, in a 4 star hotel, houses and lots for family homes. (macauhub)
