Tokyo, Japan, 25 Jan – Japan has said it is available to support the training of high-level civil servants form Mozambique, the president of Mozambique’s public administration authority (ANFP), Victoria Diogo said Wednesday in Tokyo.
Diogo, who is currently accompanying President Armando Guebuza on his official visit to Japan, told Mozambican news agency AIM that Japan would train 10 high level public workers who would later become trainers at the future Public Administration Institute.
Following negotiations with her Japanese counterparts, Diogo said agreement had been reached for the state workers to be trained at Japan’s Public Administration Institute.
It was also agreed that Mozambique would present a project to the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for training the staff of the municipal and central administration training institutes. (macauhub)
