Lisbon, Portugal, 22 March – Portuguese air carrier, TAP – Air Portugal will run daily flights between Lisbon and the Angolan capital of Luanda as of July in order to respond to increasing demand for the route between the two cities, the company said in Lisbon Thursday.
In a statement TAP said that it would launch a sixth weekly flight as of April 28 and the seventh on July 3.
The airline currently has five flights epr week to the Angolan capital from Lisbon.
The flights will be carried out by A340 aircraft, with a capacity for 268 passengers, according to the statement. (macauhub)
