Beijing, China, 26 March – The 12th Macau International Fair (MIF) is to be held on October 18 to 21 officials from the Macau Institute for Promotion of Trade (IPIM) and Investment said in the Chinese capital.
The 2007 edition of MIF is entitled “New Macau” based on the fact that the territory “will in the future become an attractive and diverse center for conventions and exhibition, thus becoming a regional platform.”
According to IPIM, MIF this year will exhibit a “new world in terms of content and type of exhibitions, hardware and pavilions.”
In 2006, MIF coincided with the meeting of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries, and 148 delegations from 47 countries took part.
The Maputo International Fair in 2006 was visited by around 65,000 people. (macauhub)
