Brazil’s Vale do Rio Doce signs contract with Chinese company

Beijing, China, 3 April – Brazilian mining giant Companhia do Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) signed an iron ore supply contract with Chinese company Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes, the Chinese agency responsible for state companies said Monday in Beijing.

According to a statement published on the Administration and Supervision Commission of State Assets website, CVRD will supply Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes with 900,000 tons of iron ore per year.
