Bartolomeu Dias group opens vegetable oil factory in Angola

Luanda, Angola, 27 April – Nori, the industrial arm of the Angolan business group Bartolomeu Dias, on May 1 is due to open a vegetable oil factory, and is the first company to focus on this sector since the Maná oil factory went bankrupt several years ago, newspaper Semanário Angolense reported.

The factory was built from scratch on a 25,000 square-meter plot, with a building area of 8,000 square meters, represents an investment of US$36 million mainly financed by Bartolomeu Dias, the head of the group with the same name, with 7 percent granted by the Banco de Poupança e Crédito bank.

The engineer in charge of the last stage of tuning equipment at the factory said it had the capacity to produce 144,000 liters of oil. (macauhub)
