Brazilian executives to visit southern China in December

Sao Paulo, Brazil, 10 Aug – Company chiefs from Sao Paulo will visit Macau, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou in December, officials have said.

Sao Paulo’s municipal office for international relations told macauhub Thursday that the visit will occur in the first half of December and is being organized in conjunction with the Sao Paulo Commercial Association.

It is expected that 30 company chiefs, from a range of sectors, will travel to the south of China to make technical visits to companies and discuss possible partnerships.

Originally, the visit of the Sao Paulo business delegation was to have been to three regions, but Shenzhen was included in the itinerary after a business promotion event for the Chinese city’s district of Futian held in Brazil last month.

More than 100 Brazilian entrepreneurs took part in the event promoted by the Brazil-China Chamber of Economic Development (CBCDE) in Sao Paulo with the aim of boosting bilateral trade.

The Chinese delegation included Shenzhen’s deputy mayor, Hong Cunwei, and representatives from companies based in the region, such as Excellence Property Group Co., from the real-estate sector, and Jingfeng Technology Development Co., form the technology sector. (macauhub)
