Chinese exports expected to rise 27 percent in 2007

Beijing, China, 21 Aug – China’s exports are expected to increase 27 percent this year to US$1.231 trillion, the deputy Trade Minister, Yu Guangzhou, said last weekend.

According to the Monday edition of official newspaper China Securities Journal, Yu made the comment during the China Economic Development Forum.

In 2006, Chinese exports rose 27.3 percent to US$969.1 billion.

In the first seven months of 2007, Chinese exports rose 28.6 percent year on year to US$654.4 billion. (macauhub)
