London, United Kingdom, 18 October – Angola oil production is expected to exceed 2 million barrels per day for the first time due to new wells going into production, London dealers said Tuesday.
In December, Angola is expected to export 1.95 million barrels per day, an increase of 150,000 against the previous record for November.
The Angolan domestic market consumes 62,000 barrels per day and therefore total production would be 2.01 million barrels of oil per day.
The first load of crude oil from the Mondo field, operated by Exxon Mobil, is expected to take place in December, with production due to begin in November with a round 100,000 barrels of oil per day.
The Plutónio oil field, operated by BP, which began producing oil two weeks ago, is expected to export 194,000 barrels per day in December. (macauhub)
