Mozambique/Cape Verde: Mozambican and Cape Verdean tour operators take part in London’s World Travel Market

13 November 2007

London, United Kingdom, 13 Nov – Mozambique and Cape Verde have been present since Monday at the World Travel Market (WTM) fair in London, which will run until November 15.

Mozambique has 14 exhibitors at the fair, occupying a total of 60 square meters, and Cape Verde is represented by 11 entities, including its national airline and the Cape Verde Chamber of Tourism, at a 24 square meter stand.

Speaking at a press conference in Praia, the chairman of Cabo Verde Investimentos (CI), Vítor Fidalgo, said that the fair was important because cape Verde was in the “Top ten” for British investors.

Fidalgo also noted that Cape Verde would take part, on December 4 and 5, in London, in the Real Estate Fair with eight investors who would exhibit projects for sale in the tourist real estate market.

In its turn, Mozambique, as well as providing information about tourism in the country, plans to provide continuity to an event in which it has taken part every year since 1998.

Around 5,500 exhibitors will be present at this year’s edition of the WTM, representing 220 countries and regions in the world. (macauhub)
