Moscow, Russia, 21 Nov – Russia will build a communications satellite ordered by Angola, the head of the Russian space agency said in Moscow Tuesday.
According to Anatoli Perminov, cited by Russian news agency Novosti, Russia, as well as the satellite, has agreed to build a station in Angola as well as train Angolan technicians.
The respective program, Perminov said, would be carried out by 2011 with the participation of the aerospace energy group and Rosoboronexport, the state company that holds the monopoly on Russian arms exports.
Novosti gave no further details on the deal or who signed the document. (macauhub)
