Angola: Germany to increase credit line by 1 million euros

Luanda, Angola, 30 Nov – Angola and Germany are due to sign a financing agreement in December worth 1 billion euros, to boost the credit line granted by Berlin to Luanda, an Angolan government official said Thursday in Luanda.

This agreement, which involves the Angolan authorities and Commerzbank, will be signed on December 3, in the first two days of an official visit by German Economy and Technology minister, Michael Glos, to Angola.

According to the Angolan finance ministry, Glos is due to arrive in Luanda with a delegation of 80 businesspeople “interested in investing in the country,” in several areas. (macauhub)
