China: Air cooperation under debate in Macau with Portuguese-speaking countries

Macau, China, 6 Dec – Air transport cooperation is one of the four subjects that as of Thursday will be discussed at the second conference between the Chinese airport authorities and those of Portuguese-speaking countries.

As well as cooperation in air transport, some 100 participants in the seminar, which will take place until Saturday in Macau, will also discuss the sustainable development of airports and airlines, the regulator and air space as motors to drive the development of airports, and airports as infrastructures to lonk the world.

Amongst the participants in the seminar, in which Macau is once again the platform for understanding and cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, are officials responsible for airport infrastructures, companies that mange and own airports, civil aviation authorities and representatives of air carriers.

As part of the cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries, over 360 air traffic controllers and staff from airport facilities have already taken part in training courses in Portugal. (macauhub)
