Mozambique: Anti-viral drugs factory ready in 18 months

Maputo, Mozambique, 21 Jan – The installation in Mozambique of a anti-viral drug factory could be concluded with 18 months, Brazil’s ambassador to Mozambique, Leda Camargo said Saturday in Maputo.

At the end of an audience with the President of the Republic, Armando Guebuza, on the occasion of the ambassador standing down, Camargo said that Mozambique’s Health Minister, Ivo Garrido is visiting the Osvaldo Cruz foundation, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in order to finalize the details on setting up the factory.

The diplomat said that an inter-ministerial working group had been set up in Mozambique to deal with the issue. (macauhub)
