Praia, Cape Verde, 3 March – Cape Verdean air carrier, TACV, is in September expected to launch its Recife-Praia-Dakar route, said Friday in Praia to Cape Verdean news agency Infopress.
According to the marketing director of TACV, António Socorro, this route, the company’s second destination to Brazil, after Fortaleza (Ceará), ahs the support of the government of the State of Pernanmbuco.
In order to open up this link, which will be initially run once a week, a study was carried out to show its feasibility. The survey outlined a load factor of 75 percent on a Boeing 757, with a capacity for 210 passengers.
TACV carries out five flights per week to Fortaleza (Brazil) with two from Praia and three from Sal Island. (macauhub)
