Bissau, Guinea Bissau, 7 March – The secretaries of state for foreign affair and cooperation of Portugal and Guinea Bissau, João Gomes Cravinho e Roberto Cacheu, respectively, Thursday in Bissau signed the Indicative Cooperation Program (PIC) for the next three years.
With its budget set at 35 million euros, the PIC is focused on two major areas: Good governance, participation and democracy, sustainable development and fighting poverty.
Projects will be developed in areas such as State administration, with the support of the security, justice and finance sector, technical military cooperation, education and socio-community development.
Cravinho started an official visit to Guinea Bissau Thursday, which is due t end Friday, to sign the PIC and take part in the closing session of the Guiledje International Symposium, on the dispute of that strategic point during the colonial war. (macauhub)
