Lisbon, Portugal, 27 May – Portuguese state airline TAP is to start flights to Bissau twice a week starting next Sunday, a company official said in Lisbon.
TAP, which currently offers one flight a week to Guinea Bissau, expects to increase this route to three timew per week as of 1 July this year.
The company had said in March that it would increase the number of flights to Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde and Mozambique over the summer.
In 2007, the company transported 430,000 passengers on its African flights. (macauhub)
