Angola: Angola International Mining Fair starts 18 June

Luanda, Angola, 12 June – The 2nd edition of the Angola International Mining fair (FIMA 2008), to be held at the Expo-Angola exhibition centre (Filda), will be open to the public between 18 and 22 June, the co-organiser of the fair, Fil-Feira Internacional de Luanda said in Luanda Wednesday.

In a statement, Fil said that 31 mining companies had signed up for the fair, including Angolan and foreign companies, which is also organised by Angolan diamond mining company Endiama and the Ministry fo Geology and Mining.

Currently 67 stands are being set up at the fair, where mining products and services will be displayed.

This year Fima will showcase a number of innovations, including from the jewellery industry which will display its creations and the auctioning off of a diamond cut by Angolans, in Angola. (macauhub)
