Luanda, Angola, 18 July – Preparations for the 6th edition of the International Construction Equipment, Materials and Safety Fair, to be held between 16 and 19 October in Luanda, are in their final stages.
Speaking to Angolan news agency Angop on the sidelines of the Luanda International Fair, the general manager of Arena Direct, which is responsible for hosting the event, Manuel Novais, said that 80 percent of the spaces available for stands had already been sold.
According to Novais, just 20 percent of the total space is now available, at an event which covers 10,000 square metres.
The construction fair is expected to attract over 300 companies (both foreign and national), with particular focus on those from Portugal, Brazil, Spain and China.
The Arena Direct Group is one of the 550 companies present at FIL-2008, which is being held in Luanda between 15 and 20 July under the title of, “Renovation of Infrastructures in Angola, a vote of confidence for development.” (macauhub)
