Lisbon, Portugal, 10 Oct – Portuguese group Vila Galé Friday launches another real estate five star tourist resort in Brazil, with initial investment of 95 million reais.
The chairman of the group, Jorge Rebelo de Almeida, said in a statement that the group’s aim was to launch “na average of one hotel a year.”
With this in mind the group is preparing projects for other Brazilian states, specifically Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
The Cumbuco Golf Resort is located 41 kilometres from Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará, and will cover an area of 480 hectares, including Hotel Vila Galé, which will be 100,000 square metres and an 18-hole golf course, the company said in a statement.
The launch of the resort, which is due to be concluded at the end of 2009, is held Friday in Fortaleza, at Hotel Vila Galé, located at Futuro beach.
Hotel Vila Galé Cuncumbo will have 462 apartments and chalets, four restaurants, five bars and a Satsanga Spa. It will also have a convention centre equipped to receive large events.
The Vila Galé grouped began operating in Brazil in 2001, with the inauguration of Hotel Vila Galé Fortaleza and in 2004 it inaugurated Vila Galé Salvador, in 2006, Vila Galé Marés Resort, in Guarajuba. (macauhub)
