Angola: Construction company Mota Engil wants to double business in Angola

Luanda, Angola, 14 Oct – Portuguese construction company Mota Engil Engenharia plans, over the next two years, to double its turnover in Angola to 600 million euros.

The chairman of the board of Mota Engil, António Mota was speaking to Angolan news agency Angop in Luanda on the sidelines of the second meeting of company staff to summarise activities in the 2005/2007 period and plan for the future.

The Mota-Engil group has been present in Angola since the company was founded in 1946.

“Angola has become a real construction workshop and Mota Engil wants to be part of that challenge by continuing to cooperate alongside the efforts of the local authorities in building and refurbishing the country’s main social facilities,” Mota said. (macauhub)
