Angola: Factory to assemble 33,000 vehicles per year

Luanda, Angola, 24 Oct – Vehicle manufacturing company CSG, located in Angola’s special economic area of Viana, on the outskirts of Luanda, plans to assemble 33,000 passenger and heavy vehicles per year, Angolan news agency Angop reported.

Of the total number of vehicles, 3,000 will be buses and 30,000 will be Nissan branded vans.

The factory was built in April 2007 and has two assembly lines for cars, a sales unit, mechanical and panel beating workshop, a residential area for workers and an office building.

In order to be taken on as staff members, 45 young Angolans were given training in China. (macauhub)
