Mozambique: mCel contracts Aircom International to update 2G and 3G planning tools

Leatherhead, United Kingdom, 25 Nov – British company Aircom International has signed a contract with Mozambican mobile Telecom company mCel to update mCel’s 2G and 3G network planning tools.

In a deal worth US$1 million, mCel will be able to use Aircom’s tools to plan and manage its new 3G network, which is currently being implemented in Mozambique.

According to a statement, using Aircom’s tools mCel wqill be able to carefully plan and build its new 3G network as well quickly and easily analyse its performance in real time.

Aircom International supplies network planning and optimisation services and specialises in planning, sharing and contracting outside point to point network services IP (Internet Protocol) and mobile networks. (macauhub)
