Luanda, Angola, 25 Nov – Angola’s minister for Trade, Idalina Valente, said Monday in Luanda that she planned to include the issuing of retail services and merchant licenses in the Guichet Único de Empresa – GUE (Single Business Office) service.
The GUE is a public service with the aim of making it easier to set up, change or close companies and deal with related processes.
The aim of issuing retail licenses via the GUE, according to the minister who was speaking at the fourth Ministry for Trade Consulting Council, is to make it easier to obtain these documents.
Currently, issuing commercial and services licenses is the responsibility of the Trade Ministry.
The consulting meeting took place to discuss the theme of, “the retail sector at the service of development,” and it concluded with a recommendation to train technicians to negotiate agreements and recruitment of English-language teachers for the National Retail School (Enco).(macauhub)
