Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, 13 Jan – Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, in 2008 delivered a total of 204 jet aircraft in the Commercial, Executive, Defence and Government Aviation sectors, the company said in a statement.
According to the statement, for the second consecutive time in its history, Embraer set a new record for delivering aircraft, exceeding its 2007 result of 169 jet aircraft, by 20 percent.
At the end of the year, the value of firm orders in the company’s portfolio was US$20.9 billion.
In the fourth quarter of 2008, Embraer delivered 44 jet aircraft to the Commercial Aviation segment, 11 aicraft to the Executive Aviation segment and four jets to the Defence and Government segment. (macauhub)
