Luanda, Angola, 6 March – Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil in 2007 in Angola posted turnover of over US$150 million, the company’s chief executive, Luís Parreirão said Thursday in Luanda.
In relation to the 2008, Parreirão said that the company, which ahs been operating in Angola for 62 years, had as yet not drawn up its accounts, but said that Mota-Engil had seen significant growth.
He also noted that the company had an ambitious growth plan which included Portugal and international markets.
Mota-Engil Angola is an Angolan company set up in the country in 1947.
It currently employs 5,000 people, 90 percent fo which are Angolans, and operates in Angola and four other African countries, Portugal, Central Europe, Brazil and México. (macauhub)
