Lobito, Angola, 30 March – Angolan company Desco, specialised in supplying automatic electricity generators and construction, over the last few years has invested around US$60 million, the company’s managing director, Knut Andersson told Angolan news agency Angop Friday.
The Swedish businessman who has been in Angolan for over 30 years, said that these investments had been made because he considered the Angolan market to be secure and dynamic.
He said that the company was currently building a 94-room hotel, in the city fo Lobito, as well as focusing on supplying groups of generators.
Andersson praised a government programme to rebuild roads which, in his understanding, was one of the main drivers of the re-launch of the economy. (macauhub)
