Mozambique: Roads administration launches international tender for road in Zambézia province

Maputo, Mozambique, 17 April – Mozambican roads institute, Administração Nacional de Estradas (ANE) Wednesday in Maputo launched an international tender for refurbishment work on the road between Milange and Mocuba in Zambézia province, in central-northern Mozambique.

The section that needs working on is some 200 kilometres long and the work description includes the urban section of the town of Milange.

“Participation is open to all companies taking part individually or in consortium from member states of the European Union and the territories of the regions covered and/or authorised by the regulations or another specific instrument that si applicable to the programme on which the contract is signed,” said an ANE document.

ANE added that applicants should submit proposals with a guarantee value of 600,000 euros.

The work, which is due to begin this year on an as yet unspecified date, is scheduled to take 36 months. (macauhub)
