Mozambique: ANE invests around 100 million meticais in repair of Zambezia roads

Maputo, Mozambique, 21 April – Mozambique’s roads institute, the Administração Nacional de Estradas (ANE) will invest around 100 million meticais (US$3.77 million) in the repair of roads in Zambezia province, sources at the Ministry for Public Works and Housing have told Macauhub in Maputo.

There are 24 sections, over 3272 kilometres, linking various points of the central North-Western province of Mozambique.

The work is to be carried out by around 30 companies selected for the job.

Last week, ANE launched an international tender for refurbishment of the road between Milange and Mocuba, over about 200 kilometres, also in Zambezia province. (macauhub)
