Angola: Luanda to host first Employment Forum in July

29 May 2009

Luanda, Angola, 29 May – Around fifty companies are due to take part in the first Employment forum organised by Elite International Center (EIC), a London-based company, from 6 to 8 July, the sales director of EIC said in the Angolan capital Thursday.

Miguel Vieira said that the initiative was intended to be more than a mere employment fair, and the aim was to provide direct contact between those interested in a job or in changing their job and upper management linked to the employers present at the fair.

Although the First Angolan Employment Forum aims to attract the maximum number of high quality candidates possible for the companies operating in the country, access is not free to all and is reserved for invited job candidates, following a selection process to evaluate their curriculum vitae.

The event is aimed at all students that are finishing their university studies, recent graduates, as well as professionals that are already working in the market but want to change career, said Vieira, noting that companies had an opportunity to hire employees of “excellent quality.” (macauhub)
