Luanda, Angola, 4 June – Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil will build a second line terminal in the municipality of Cacuaco, to the north of the Angolan capital Luanda, with the contract for the project signed Wednesday with terminal management company SGT, Angolan news agency Angop reported.
The agency said that the project aimed to reduce congestion at the port of Luanda.
Construction is due to begin this month and end in November. The second line terminal will cover an area of 47 hectares and represent an investment of US$70 million.
The municipality of Cacuaco has three funds set aside by the State for construction of warehouses, housing for young people and strips of land for construction. (macauhub)
