Dundo, Angola, 11 June – The Angolan province of Lunda Norte within a year will have five new factories, the local director for Industry, Alberto Muquendi said Wednesday in Dundo.
Cited by Angolan news agency Angop, Muquendi noted that, as part of the executive programme of the manufacturing industry, Lunda Norte had been chosen to house factories for zinc panels, nails, manioc flour, red bricks, tyre retreading and a print works.
Muquendi said that a technical team from the Industry Ministry had recently visited the province to assess the conditions for carrying out the project and met with local business owners to inform them about ways of accessing the plans.
He said that the candidates that showed interest in taking part in the region’s industrial development project should, within a month, present their proposals to the technical group of the executive programme. (macauhub)
