Recife, Brazil, 12 June – The city of Recife, the capital of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco will have a direct air link with Angola as of September said the Pernambuco secretary for tourism, Sílvio Costa Filho.
Costa Filho said he would meet with executives from Puma Air in the first week of July to draw up a project to be presented to the National Aviation Institute (ANAC) and the Tourism Ministry for approval.
According to Costa Filho the route will be carried out via São Paulo, with a stop off in Recife, and will then travel on to Luanda.
According to the secretary, Puma Air expects to invest 4.5 million reals in carrying out the project, and the state secretariat for tourism would be a promotional partner. (macauhub)
