Sao Tome, Sao Tome and Principe, 1 July – Over one hundred businesspeople from Portugal, Angola, Cameroon and Nigeria are due to take part in the first international fair to be held in the capital of Sao Tome from 11 to 15 June, the event’s organisers said Tuesday in Sao Tome.
“All of them have shown interest in finding out about the business opportunities that our country offers and possibly establish partnerships,” said Emídio Pereira, chairman of the Association of Young Business Owners.
Over 50 companies and institutions that operate in Sao Tome have already signed up, Pereira said.
“The products that will be exhibited are related to the areas of agriculture, trade, industry and various services, specifically banking and tourism,” he said.
The organisation of the fair is the responsibility of the Association of Young Business Owners in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Services and the government’s cooperation. (macauhub)
