Lisbon, Portugal, 2 July – Building work on the new Luanda International Fair (FIL) will have the cooperation of the Portuguese Business Association (AEP) and Exponor and is due to begin next year, the association said in a statement.
Under the terms of an agreement signed in January, the events carried out by the AEP/FIL partnership will have a net area of no less than 2,000 square metres, the statement said.
Amongst other facilities, the Luanda International Fair will provide logistic and operational support for customs tasks and the entry of foreign products into Angola, as well as the process of obtaining the necessary visas for exhibitors from other countries.
He Luanda fairs venue will, between 30 July and 2 August host Export Home Angola (a home decor, furniture, lighting and home textiles fair) in which 73 Portuguese companies are due to take part.
This fair is the first in which AEP, which is responsible for fairs at Portugal’s FIL venue, has been involved. (macauhub)
