Africa Cup of Nations in Angola to use Chinese buses

Luanda, Angola, 8 July – Chinese company Foton will provide the buses used to transport the football teams competing in the Africa Cup of Nations, due to take place in Angola next January, the organising commission said.

According to the commission the buses have 46 seats and an air conditioning system. 20 units are expected to be in operation, five for each province – Cabinda, Benguela, Huíla and Luanda – where the games will take place.

The Africa Cup of Nations is due to be held from 10 to 31 January, 2010 and will involve 16 national teams playing in four cities.

Foton is a state company headquartered in Beijing that manufactures commercial vehicles. (macauhub)
