Angola’s biggest building, with 24 floors, inaugurated

Luanda, Angola, 24 Sept – Luanda’s biggest building, belonging to the Escom group, which is 102 metres high and has 24 floors, was inaugurated Tuesday in the Kinaxixi neighbourhood.

The building, which was built by Portuguese construction company Teixeira Duarte cost some US$135 million.

Work on the building, which includes retail, office and residential space, began in 2004.

The building sits on a total area of 50,000 square metres. (macauhub)
