Luanda, Angola, 16 Oct – The International Construction, Public Works and Materials Fair “Constrói Angola-2009” opened Thursday in Luanda with the participation of over 300 national and foreign companies, mostly from Portugal.
The seventh edition of “Constrói Angola,” which is due to close Sunday, is attended by 124 companies from Portugal, 18 from Brazil, 14 from China, three from Spain, one each from Italy, Germany and South Africa.
The exhibition is taking place in a covered area of 11,116 metres, as well as an outside space where, this year, pre-fabricated houses will be on display.
In last year’s fair, 253 national and foreign companies took part and exhibited their products in two pavilions, in an area of 10,000 square metres.
The pre-fabricated houses are a novelty at the fair where Portugal, the biggest foreign exhibitor, is presenting four projects in this area.
Companies such as Opway-Angola, H4U, AIMMP and Movex Angola have taken wooden houses projects to the fair. (macauhub)
